Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR launched its first discussion sessions of decision makers accountability by women members of women protection committees

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR launched its first discussion sessions of decision makers accountability by women members of women protection committees in Abu-nuwar in east Jerusalem, along with ministry of transportation from the public sector and Silwan Al-izarie Abu-Dees affirm from the private sector.
This activity is a part of the project entitled (Towards Women who Lead Change in Priority Communities and Make a Difference in their Lives and the Lives of Others) funded by Dutch government in partnership with local councils in Hebron and east Jerusalem. The participants of this activity included members of the protection committee and women in general along with Dr. Sahar Al-Kawasmeh, the general director of ADWAR Association, Musa Rahhal the auditor of general transport in the transportation ministry, the head of Abu-Nuwar local council Eid Al-Jahaleen, Adel Ihmeed the transportation auditor in Jerusalem, and Asem Yamen the director of trailin and investigation in transportation ministry.
Women expressed their needs and shed the light on the suffering in transportation and how they manage to go to medical and educational centers, or to markets. They asserted on the lack of private transportation in that area that suits the nature and needs of the place.
At the end of the session, Musa Rahhal the auditor of jeneral transport in the transportation ministry promised to provide general transportation service by providing a general transportation vehicle for women in particular and the local community in general in order to make movement easier for them. This happens in partnership with the local community and Roles association. He also promised to provide private transportation by giving license for two legal cars (ford) as a way of providing a transportation to and from it.
