Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR held the third coordination discussion meeting with private sector in Tarqumya

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR held the third coordination discussion meeting with private sector in Tarqumya within the project “Supporting disadvantaged Bedouin and rural women to formalize and manage income-generating businesses, in south of Hebron and East Jerusalem” in partnership with Palestinian Market Development Programme (PMDP) and funded by UKAID & European Union; and in the presence of Al Izdihar Company for Development , the project coordinator Fatina Al Mohtaseb, representative of Chamber of Commerce Mr. Mahmoud Al Amleh. This meeting aimed at networking with commercial centers and private sector to contribute to sell women’s different products; as well as registration of income-generating projects in Chamber of Commerce; to assure converting women’s projects from informal sector to a formal sector and support women’s economical independence. Most important outcomes of this meeting were that Chamber of Commerce confirmed its commitment regarding registering the company as a credited member in Chamber of Commerce, as well as working on networking this company with other organizations and expositions.
Al Amleh expressed his admiration of women’s products and the effective role Tarqumya women play in social, economical and political life.
