Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR continues to implement the activities of the project entitled” Towards Women who Lead Change in Priority Communities and Make a Difference in their Lives and the Lives of Others”In partnership with local councils in Hebron and funded by the Dutch government Where community-based initiatives led by members of the Women’s Protection Committees in Hebron have been completed in Musafir Bani Na’im, Ramadin-Al-Dhahiriya, and Jala. The aim of these initiatives was to allow accountability mechanisms to be implemented through the members of the protection committees. They provided various initiatives to serve the local community and continued their work to answer decision makers in order to meet the needs of other women and girls in priority groups. one of the most important initiatives that was held is the one entitled “let’s cooperate” in Masafer Bany Naaim, stressing the importance of the role of women in economic life in the community. where the initiative in Jala Bedouin community was entitled “Our right to a better education”, which provided the opportunity for children to continue education and the importance of women’s participation in community life. The Ramadin-Al-Dhahiriya initiative, is entitled “We Want Healthy Places,”, it highlighted the importance of health in the lives of women and children. For her part, the Director General of the ADWAR Dr. Sahar Yousef AlKawasmeh said that these community initiatives are very important in the project because they are a pivotal stage in allowing members of the protection committees to apply their knowledge and skills on the ground and provide services to women and all members of the family.
