The Partner Associations Completes " The Country Is for Me and for You" Festival 's Initiative

In cooperation and coordination with the partner associations which were ; Roles for Social Change Association(ADWAR) , The Bibles society , Cultural Women Center, Nibras for Youth Association and BOYC, " this country is for me and for you" initiative was completed which was planned and implemented by 35 participants ( men and women); in sponsored by the Bible society  with the ( Interacting Societies) project in Hebron.
 The initiative aimed to present youth's issues, enhance the social participation, and change the society positively to be developed scientifically and cognitively and informing the society about the sensitive issues related to "gender" concept and development.
In addition, the initiative aimed to raise awareness in Hebron about youth's needs and problems and the importance of changing their traditional perspective toward youth's roles.

 The festival consisted of many activities started with a partner associations' speech which noted to the partner associations' efforts in implementing the project. In addition to Marwan Sultan's speech, the   deputy of Hebron governor, who confirmed on the importance of Palestinian National Authority's support to youth's roles.
 
  Ashraqat Al-Haimony, an initiator, introduced the initiative's achievements. Then the participants introduced a play entitled " a Girl on Life Sidewalk" followed by Ayman Al-Nahas's show who introduced different social attitudes about women's perspective to men and men's perspective to women, in addition to introduce their roles to confirm on the completion of their roles.
    
 Mohammed Al-Arab, an initiator, introduced a pantomime play entitled " from Here and There", and  Ala' Abu Arqoub, an initiator, read a poem; in addition to a Rap song entitled " an Issue Reality" which was about the separation wall and the Palestinian prisoners issues. Then the festival was concluded by a songs and Dabka by Weshah" band. "

 The festival had achieved great results such; developing initiators' responsibility and awareness of planning, implementing and participation. In addition, their skills and knowledge were improved personally, professionally and socially.

 The festival also achieved raising awareness about the importance of initiators' effective social and political roles, and informing them about the leadership and its characterizations and skills. It also informed them about how to communicate with self and with others to build social relations and personal skills positively.

Elias Al-Njjar, Manager of the interacting  community project with the Bible Institution, confirms on the great results that the festival's initiative achieved; in terms of creative ideas' level and the untraditional performance of introducing audience to youth's social and political problems by doing effective activities.
     
Sahar Alkawasmeh, ADWAR Association general director, noted to the methods which the initiators chose to introduce their problems and needs to their society". " They also had a great job by informing the society about sensitive issues like the " gender" issue and women killing which becomes a common phenomenon in last days", Alkawasmeh added.

She also confirmed on the women right to choose the suitable educational fields outside country and the right to choose the life partner regardless of the common traditional roles of men and women in Hebron .
