General Framework:

Within the economic program which aims at developing capacities of women and promote their participation in economic life. ADWAR Association in partnership with the Local Employment and TVET Council in Hebron, Ministry of Labour, various Palestinian companies and relevant institutions carried out the implementation of the project” Women Forum for Skills and talents to Support Business Procedures”

The main objective of this project lies in enhancing graduate women participation in economic development and bridging gender gaps in poverty and unemployment.

Project objectives:

  1. To build capacities of 20 young graduates in various professional fields and create networking channels between the trainees and the targeted institutions, companies, associations and organizations.
  2. To provide employees and workers of graduates with a high level of qualification and training for companies and various institutions each according to its competence.
  3. To face challenges of creating job opportunities for graduates in Hebron. Thus, create more diverse work force in the national economic sector.

Time period:

ADWAR Association implemented the project during April and May of 2015.

Targeted group:                                

The project targeted 20 women graduates from Hebron governorate with various specializations from Palestinian universities whom looking for job opportunities, their age range between (22-28 years).

Targeted of Palestinian institutions and companies:

  1. Governmental institutions (state institutions).
  2. Civil organizations (CSO).
  3. Associations and cooperatives (feminist).
  4. The private sector (profit) companies.
