Roles for Social Change Association finished five seminars involving enhancing Bedouin women participation in social life in partnership with catholic Relief Services within Civic Participation Program funded by the American Agency for International devel

In which those seminars took places in Bedouin communities south east of Yatta: ( Al Zweideen, Um AlKheir, Al Hathaleen). In the presence of 135 participants (30 young men-105 young women).
Those seminars aimed to enhance the participation of Bedouin women in social life and empower them to express their basic needs for local councils and ministry of local goverrnment, also to express women’s role in work and cooperation with local councils and enhance young men and women to upgrade the fact of different social services of health, education, and transportation. The achievements of the seminars that young men and women expressed that those seminars helped in developing and raising awareness towards the importance of education and making social movement by society to solve educational problems, in which people donated five acres to build a school for girls.
For her part Sahar Al Kawasmeh confirmed that the project has accomplished the desired achievements through making an effective social movement which combined men, women, local councils, and relevant Ministries.
