Awareness sessions for women and young women in Hebron and Gaz

A group of women from Bedouin communities in Hebron (Musafer Bani Naim, Masafer Yatta) and Gaza (Juhr Al-Deek and Al-Mughraqa) demanded their economic rights, the need to remove obstacles facing them in obtaining a union membership, and the facilitation of registering agricultural cooperatives at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, especially when it comes to registration fees, as obstacles faced by these women contribute to expanding the circle of informal work. These demands were monitored during four awareness sessions implemented by Adwar association, targeting 160 women. These sessions are part of the project: ““Women Economic Activities in Priority Communities, a Painful Dire Reality and Official Recognition Absence”, implemented in cooperation with the Democracy & Workers’ Rights Center, Palestinian Working Woman Society for Development, COSPE, and EducAid, and funded by the European Union.
