Grassroots Network to Protect the Economic Rights of Young Women and Women in Palestine project

Logical Framework
This project is implemented by ADWAR Association , within the Feminism for Women’s Economic Rights Program – (FEM PAWER), which is implemented by a coalition of four women’s rights organizations in the Middle East and North Africa region led by the Swedish Women’s Foundation, with the Arab Women’s Association From Jordan, the Research and Training Group for Development Action from Lebanon, and the Palestinian Working Women Association for Development from Palestine.

9/2022 -12/2026

Objectives
– Expanding the base of the grassroots network to eliminate economic violence, and raising the level of capacities of   the grassroots associations involved in the network and committed to achieving gender equality and reducing   economic violence, in order to integrate the dynamics of advocacy and campaigns into their work by changing the   conditions of young women and women towards economic empowerment.
– Enhancing the capacities of young women who face economic violence in the informal labor sector on equal     economic rights and abolishing all discriminatory practices against women.
– Strengthening the mechanisms of social mobilization and organization in order to hold accountable decision-   makers in the Palestinian government for their role in providing policies and executive procedures that contribute to bridging the gaps in economic participation rates, eliminating economic violence and achieving social justice.

 Target group
– Four grassroots women’s associations in Hebron, Bethlehem, East Jerusalem, and Jericho.
– Women and young women from all governorates of the West Bank (Hebron, Bethlehem, East Jerusalem, Jericho,   Ramallah, Salfit, Nablus, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Tubas, Jenin).
