Project We Men Are your Allies to Influence, Advocate and Support Women’s Rights

General Framework
The project is being implemented in partnership with the Gender Forum in Local Government and with direct support from the Canadian Feminist Fund, during the period from October 2022 to March 2023.

Objectives
-Recruiting men and youth and changing their attitudes towards supporting Palestinian women in political   participation in local governance, as one force through the formation of a men’s coalition that supports women’s   participation in order to influence other men at the grassroots level and active local leadership.
-Raise public awareness about the importance of women’s participation in decision-making positions in local   government by forming a state of public awareness at the grassroots level of local leaders and the need to consider   them an essential and effective part of decision-making.

 Target Group
Men, youth, women and girls in East Jerusalem, Al-Eizariya, Abu Dis, Al-Sawahra, Jericho, Nabi Musa, Zubeidat and the Gaza Strip.
