ADWAR Association, in partnership with the women in Musafer Bani Naem and in cooperation with the Rural Charitable Association for Development in thier, held a follow-up meeting on Sunday 06/08/2023, in Bani Naim, east of Hebron Governorate, on the agricultural needs of women that women suffer from unavailability, such as seeds and various dairy processing tools , usable agricultural wells, checks, fences and plastic houses to protect crops from overgrazing, in addition to irrigation networks and agricultural roads that facilitate farmers’ access to land.
The Ministry of Agriculture pledged to start distributing seeds to women farmers and to everyone who goes to the Agricultural Extension Office in the region, as registration has been extended to obtain these needs with the exception of women for two days, and coordination will be made to hold a series of agricultural training and extension courses in order to improve the skills and capabilities of women farmers, and the rest will be raised Demands to be followed up, identified and reflected in the national and strategic plans of the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture to improve the reality of services for the better in the future.
This activity comes within the framework of the CPCE Civil and Community Engagement Project, which is implemented by CRS Catholic Relief Services in partnership with the International Family Health Foundation fhi360 and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
