“Women and Young Women Struggling for Peace and Security” Initiative

General Framework

The Initiative is implemented by Roles for Social Change Association – ADWAR in partnership with Palestinian Peace Collation Funded by the European Union.

 Period of Time
5/2024 – 8/2024

 Objectives
– Developing the knowledge of ADWAR volunteers and media pioneers, regarding the current political   situation and possible solutions.
– Promoting the roles of women and men as local leaders in conflict areas in order to prevent conflict and     strengthe security and peace.
– Raising the awareness of  women , young women , men , young men and people with disabilities to     obtain  all legitimate rights .

Target Groups
The Initiative targets women , young women , men and young men from ADWAR volunteers and  Media Pioneers of both genders  , women’s protection committees in the targeted conflict communities and people with disabilities in Hebron governorate(The Old City, Beren  in Massafer Yatta, Khursa, Bait Mersem in Dur, Aldahria , Enab Alkabeer, Massafer Bani Naem ).
