The awareness seminar entitled (towards building nonviolence culture and rejecting extremism)

ADWAR Association in partnership with Zimam Palestine organization held a seminar in cooperation with Jenin governorate gender unit. With the presence of Jenin governor deputy Mr.Kamal Abu Rob, ADWAR general director Sahar AlKawasmeh, the general union for Palestinian women director Mrs.Wafa’ AlAfef, and the head of gender unit Mrs. Mervat Afef. As well as several related formal and civil organizations’ representatives.

Jenin governor deputy thanked ADWAR for its efforts in highlighting important issues in our Palestinian community in order to spread awareness and build a peaceful society which rejects all kinds of violence and encourages civil and social peace.

As Kawasmi pointed out that ADWAR implemented a series of events within the project of the role of Palestinian women in support of national issues. The project contributes to the achievement of the political program of the institution in terms of redeeming gender gaps in the role of Palestinian women to reject the culture of violence and extremism, in the light of the political and social changes occurring in the Arab world.
