ADWAR continues implementing the third phase of the project (Increasing Women’s Political Participation through Effective local election in Marginalized community)

ADWAR continues implementing the third phase of the project (Increasing Women’s Political Participation through Effective local election in Marginalized community) in partnership with the German Cooperation (GIZ) and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The project is implemented in partnership with the Local Bedouin councils, Protection committees, Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, and Ma’an Network.

The second exchange experience visit with politician women leaders, hosting a social feminist activist. In which the meeting focused on encouraging women to participate in political life through learning from those leaders and political activists. Also, it aimed at developing women leadership capacities and enhance their willingness to voting and candidacy in the next elections; in order to fulfill gender needs’ responsive services.
