ADWAR Association finishes Economic Empowerment Workshops within the project: Promotion of the local democracy and economic activity through the reinforcement of Palestinian Non State Actors”

Within the framework of the project: “Promotion of the local democracy and economic activity through the reinforcement of Palestinian Non State Actors”, that is funded by the European Union and implemented by Action Against Hunger ACF in partnership with Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR and Land Research Center LRC, in which aims at Strengthening the Palestinian Civil Society through the reinforcement and the networking of existing Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Hebron and Jerusalem governorates , and Development of the institutional and operational capacities of CBOs aiming at providing services to vulnerable communities and at supporting local economic initiatives. Furthermore, ADWAR Association finished the second part of the capacity building phase which is economic empowerment workshops on projects management and how to establish budgets within the feasibility study. That is in targeted areas    ( Yatta, Susya,Hathaleen, Tarqomia, Anata) With the participation of trainees from different targeted CBO’s from targeted areas. As it aimed at capacity-building and empowerment of the target group with projects management and ensure their sustainability.

As Mrs.Sahar AlKawasmeh ADWAR’s General Director, pointed out that those workshops helped in economic capacity building for the targeted group. As they come to complete capacity building phase in which ADWAR Association, Action Against Hunger ACF, and Land Research Center LRC worked on.
