Roles Association-ADWAR continues implementing theater performance, in cooperation with Beit Awwa

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR continues implementing theater performance, in cooperation with Beit Awwa Youth Club, within the project entitled (Protecting Women Legal Rights) that comes within its social program, in which it aims to decrease gender-based violence.
The Field coordinator of ADWAR, Lina Wahsh opened the meeting with introducing ADWAR and its three programs that aim to achieve the main objective of ADWAR, which is change the perspective of Local community on gender and its roles. yet, she continued with introducing the project and its main objectives which are increase awareness about women legal rights and break barriers to reach Family Courts.
Moreover, the vice president of Beit Awwa Youth club, Muhammad Yousef welcomed the honored guests and showed them that their presence is a sign of their ambition to change Palestinian women’s reality in general and Beit Awwa women’s in particular. As well, he thanked ADWAR for its continues work to change the local community’s reality and he showed how this project can change the way boys and girls think about women legal rights and the importance of getting these rights.
Besides, the Mayor of Beit AWWA Municipality, MS. Abdullah Alswaity, expressed his full belief that women are the whole society not just its half, and it’s time to lead change and decrease injustice and oppression.
Afterwards, and before the play started, the representative of Dreams Group, Abdul-Moghni Alja’bary discussed the importance of (24 Qirat) Play as it delivers the message of the project in a meaningful and comedian way.
At the end, the play was followed by critical and opened discussion to discuss the play’s idea and discuss women legal rights mentioned in the play.
