Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR carried out field visits on waste recycling in the presence

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR carried out field visits on waste recycling in the presence of representatives of Global Environment Facility (GEF) Nadia Al-Khodary, project coordinator Aya Abu Mayaleh and trainer Nizar Banat, so they visited Tarqumya Women’s club to follow waste recycling workshops and to know more regarding views of women participating in this training. The women expressed how much they benefited from this type of workshops and their willingness for more of such type of training that raises their awareness regarding dealing with environment and ways to benefit from its waste, considering this type of training empowers them economically and help them creating their own projects.
Then, they went to Beit Kahel Cooperative Association for Saving and Credit to follow up waste recycling workshop. Women of this association expressed their willingness to work in waste recycling training. Then, they evaluated artistic pieces produced by women over 7 days of training. Al-Khodary expressed her admiration of the project and artistic pieces that were presented in both associations as well, pointing out the importance of keeping on hard working in order to implement this project in full.
