Workshop on Resolution 1325 on Women, Security and Peace

Day: Wednesday Date: 20/11/2019 at ADWAR office- Hebron.
The Palestinian Center for Peace and Democracy in cooperation with ADWAR Association held a workshop on the importance of resolution 1325 in protecting the rights of Palestinian women in peace and security, in the presence of the Palestinian Center coordinator Anbara Shalaldeh along with a group of support for the center from several governorates of the country (Hebron, Bethlehem, Ezariya, Ramallah ).
Dr. Sahar Yousef Alkawasmeh General Director of ADWAR Association presented briefing on the concept of Resolution 1325 and its interlocutor mechanisms and complaints at the United Nations, and how to prepare reports in addition to the experience of ADWAR in the application of international law with members of women’s protection committees established by the Association in various regions of the country.
