A radio episode entitled The role of the Ministry of Education in serving priority gatherings in East Jerusalem and Hebron.

Within the activities of the project “Digging the voice strategy for Bedouin women equal rights” funded by the Government of Canada and in cooperation with Orouba Radio , ADWAR Association implemented a radio episode today, Wednesday 15/1/20120, titled “The Role of the Ministry of Education in Serving Priority Communities in East Jerusalem and Hebron”
The radio episode aims to raise the level of awareness among marginalized Bedouin communities about the roles of Bedouin women in raising the level of equal rights to services and non-traditional roles in social and democratic participation.
This was attended by Lana Abu Ajamieh, the project coordinator, the representative of the Ministry of Education, the director of the administrative department, Mr. Ziyad Karajeh, and the head of the Women Protection Committee in Musafir Bani Naim, Mrs. Asma Talab Zaidat, and a member of the Women Protection Committee, Mrs. Izdhar Amr.
The project coordinator during the workshop defined the main goal of the and what has been implemented so far in the previous three stages and highlighted the most important challenges and achievements that have been achieved and was highlighted on the experience of roles in priority areas and the most important challenges facing them and the importance of working continuously In these areas, support and provide them with services to enhance their resilience and provide them with a decent life.
Mr. Ziyad Karajah, Director of the Administrative Department of the Ministry of Education, stressed the importance of cooperation as one body with all official institutions and municipalities in order to support these areas in all shapes and images as quickly as possible and that they are always working to implement their demands / n and put them on the scale of priorities
The head of the Women’s Protection Committee in the Bani Naim, Mrs. Asma Zaidat, highlighted the problems that the community suffers from and the services that it lacks in general, and women suffer in particular from the lack of availability and access to them. Female students to their schools safely and without any danger and the lack of transportation for them safely and comfortably, in addition to the problem of the restoration and reconstruction of classes and schools and the problem of stray dogs that pose a danger to male and female students.
A member of the Women’s Protection Committee, Mrs. Izdhar Amro, mentioned what women and children suffer on a daily basis from the lack of the basic services needed by any ordinary citizen. She appealed to all government institutions to cooperate and intensify together to achieve the demands and access to equal services that achieve social justice.
Mr. Ziyad Karajeh asked the Corporation and all partner institutions in the matter and in support of these areas to transfer their case to a public opinion issue in order to accelerate the solution of problems and facilitate the issue of access to services.
At the end of the seminar, it was emphasized that decision-makers in governmental and non-governmental institutions and at various levels that change needs real support and continuous follow-up and solidarity in order to achieve social justice.
