Women Protection Committee in Al-Fasayel Bedouin community implements “Pavilion Initiative for Weddings and Events”

On Wednesday, 26/8/2020, Women’s Protection Committee in Al-Fasayel Bedouin community in Jericho governorate a ceremony entitled ” Pavilion Initiative for Weddings and Events”, after the private sector responded by holding an accountability meeting to highlight the need for women and families in the gathering to have a pavilion to hold weddings and events In which.

The ceremony was inaugurated by the project coordinator, Noor Manasrah, thanking the honorable attendees and praising the role of Al-Fasayel’s women in strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in priority areas, and the need to raise their voices and consider their gender-based needs.

Dr.Sahar Alkawasmeh ADWAR’s General Director confirmed that this initiative is a distinguished initiative, as it came as an affirmation and proof that despite the current circumstances and the difficulties that women are going through in these communities, it is determined to bring gladness and joy , and this is what distinguishes the Palestinian women, adding that this initiative is distinguished by serving all groups of the community and their occasions.

In turn to the members of Women Protection Committee had a speech where Mrs. Khatam Zaal highlighted the suffering of women and the lack of services provided in the community and the need for institutions to support the people in general and women in particular. Mrs. Khatam also praised the role of the ADWAR Association in reaching and supporting them.
