Women Protection Committee in Al-Dyook Bedouin Community implements ” The Churns Initiative to ease the House Work”

On Monday , 3/8/2020 , Women Protection Committee in Al-Dyook Bedouin Community – Jericho ceremony entitled ” The Churns Initiative to ease the House Work “, after the private sector responded by holding an accountability meeting to highlight the women need to have Churns to reduce burdens Which falls on woman and saves time and effort, especially as she is responsible for taking care of the livestock and sheep and the dairy industry.
Where Abu Ismail, the Head of Al-Dyook Beduin Community emphasized in his speech that women are the cornerstone and that he is always ready for any cooperation that supports women, as well as appreciating the role of ADWAR and its determination to reach women in these areas.
For her part, Dr. Sahar Alkawasmeh ,the General Director of ADWAR ,thanked the Women Protection Committee in the Al-Dyook community , for its success in raising its voice and reaching the decision-makers, and praised the activities of the committee and its effective and distinctive role, stressing that ADWAR will continue to communicate with the committee and stand by it.
This initiative comes within the activities of the project (Towards Women Leading Change in Priority Communities and Make a Difference in Their Lives and the Life of Others) in partnership with local councils in Jericho and funded by Netherlands government.
