A workshop entitled “Social Media and Digital Safety”

On Thursday 9/17/2020, The Palestinian Wiam Center in cooperation with Roles for Social Change Association – ADWAR, held a workshop for members of the Women’s Protection Committee, and women in general in Musafir Bani Naim, Hebron District. Where the workshop focused on the topic of “Social Media and Digital Safety”, the Social worker Osama Zoghbi focused on the negatives and positives of social networking sites, the importance of following up on children when they use these sites, and how to protect the personal account and prevent its penetration, as well as browsing safely on the Internet. Also, the workshop included a presentation of some real issues and stories such as drop, fraud, extortion, and the theft through the bank account numbers, which are caused by the wrong use of these sites and browsers.
